Today is a very sad day for every FC Basel fan. Today we say goodbye to seven of our players. 

• David Abraham will probably sign for Hamburger SV. 
• Scott Chipperfield is leaving us after 11 years. 
• Massimo Colomba will now coach FCB’s U-teams. 
• Marcel Herzog will leave to St Gallen. 
• Benjamin Huggel, our vice-captain, is retiring from professional football.
• Xherdan Shaqiri is going to play for FC Bayern München next season. 
• Granit Xhaka will wear #34 for Borussia Mönchengladbach next season. 

Thank you guys for the good moments, for being with us, for wearing that shirt with pride, for everything. We will miss you a lot. Goodbye and good luck!

Last night we said goodbye to 7 of our players. The legends Beni Huggel and Scott Chipperfield, young players Xherdan Shaqiri and Granit Xhaka, David Abraham and the 2nd and 3rd goalkeepers Massimo Colomba and Marcel Herzog are all leaving us before next season.
